The Voices of Grief Movement
A movement to amplify truth, compassion and the diverse voices reshaping our grief culture
Why I Started the Voices of Grief Movement
After my husband Tony died, I quickly realised that grief wasn't the problem... silence was.
So many grievers were carrying thoughts they were afraid to say out loud because they worried they'd be judged, misunderstood, or told they should be "moving on" by now. At the same time, the people around them often wanted to help, but simply didn't know how.
That's why I created the Voices of Grief Movement.
It's a movement dedicated to giving grief a voice, challenging outdated myths, and creating conversations that help people feel seen, heard and understood. Through education, honest storytelling and practical support, my mission is to help build a world where grief is no longer something we hide, fix or rush through, but something we can acknowledge with compassion and humanity.
Whether I'm coaching, speaking, writing, sharing on a podcast, or sharing on social media, the Voices of Grief Movement is the thread that runs through everything I do.
Because when we change the conversation around grief, we change the experience of grief itself.
The Voices of Grief Manifesto
We are The Voices of Grief.
A movement born from silence, built on truth, and fuelled by the love that remains after loss.
We believe grief is not a problem to be fixed, rather a human experience to be carried.
We stand for support, education, understanding and community.
For every grieving person who has felt invisible, judged, or told to move on, we see you.
This is a place where your grief has a voice.
Where grieving hearts find hope, connection, and a path forward… in their own time, and their own way. A place where your grief has a home and your voice has power. Where curiosity about what’s next is welcomed, not rushed.
We are creating a more compassionate world… one conversation, one story, one brave voice at a time.
Together, we rise.
Together, we speak.
